Toothache!
There are many web sites about Toothache and Dental Pain. This view comes from a dentist who has treated dental pain on a daily basis since the seventies. There are many toothache aids in stores and on the Internet. Most of these are not really specific to the problem facing the patient. An example: Yesterday, a patient cam in with an abscessed tooth. For days she had been putting a numbing product from the drugstore on it as it got worse. This could not have possibly worked because an abscess is an infection deep in the bone.
Failure to get a dentist's help with a dental problem is just not smart. Mind body and holistic treatments are good for some things but toothache is generally not responsive. (Of course, If you live in a part of the world where there is no dental care you will need to do the best you can to get professional help and correct information so that you can get the best drug or treatment available to you.)
On this site I list common (not all) causes of dental pain and give a little information about each. For more information, you may want to go to some of the other sites (listed at the end of this page). If you have a dental problem or question, your first resource must be your own, dentist, so don't put it off. If you don't have a dentist and you have paid or swelling, find one fast. Second choices are physicians or emergency rooms.
