Toothaches and other dental pain come from many diverse and hard to diagnose causes.  On this site I try to present the most common problems. There is no substitute for seeing your own dentist.  You cannot treat a tooth yourself, so if you're in pain so not delay.  If you are in a part of the world in which you just cannot find dental care, I hope something on this site can help you.  An abscess can be life threatening without the right antibiotic and treatment.
